Since the beginning of August, seven new apprentices and dual-track students have joined the WINI team. For them, this marks the start of a new chapter in their lives, and for us, it’s another year of training in which we support young people on their path to a career.
Every career begins with a first step. At WINI, this step is the start of an apprenticeship or a dual study program: the moment when new names, tasks, and processes come together, and many individual impressions gradually give way to a familiar work routine. It is precisely this initial period that shapes their experience—and that is exactly why we at WINI create the right framework for it.
The range of training programs is once again extensive this year. At WINI, young people are starting dual degree programs in business administration with a specialization in industry and in industrial engineering, as well as in wood and furniture technology. In addition, there are apprenticeship programs for woodworking technicians, industrial business clerks, and freight forwarding and logistics service clerks.
This diversity is made possible through close collaboration with strong educational partners in the region, such as Weserbergland University of Applied Sciences, RBS Hameln, BBS Springe, and the Furniture Training Factory in Löhne. This combination of hands-on experience within the company and solid theoretical knowledge results in a training program that pays off. Qualified trainers and mentors provide reliable support—right from day one.
When you start at WINI, you don’t stay in just one place. Our apprentices and dual-track students rotate through various departments, gaining a broad perspective of the company. They contribute to projects, take on responsibility early on, and see firsthand how requirements are turned into solutions.
For us, it’s not just about mastering technical routines—it’s about personal development: independence, the confidence to ask questions, and the joy of trying new things. In this way, we pass on what makes WINI special—craftsmanship, a commitment to quality, and the mindset of moving things forward together. Apprenticeship is a launching pad: the place where professional paths begin and careers take off.
Good solutions don't come about on their own, but through the collaboration of many people who contribute their ideas, roll up their sleeves, and want to make a difference together.
With this in mind, we view each individual as making a unique contribution to the whole. Whether structured or spontaneous, technically or commercially minded: the mix of different personalities is no coincidence, but rather the foundation of effective collaboration—both within teams and across departments.
WINI stands for high-quality, design-oriented office furniture “Made in Germany.” As a family-owned company, we develop and manufacture sustainable, modular furniture systems and customized furnishing solutions for contemporary work environments. As important as good products are—the people behind them are just as important.
That’s why we make a conscious effort to invest in training, knowledge, and development. By entrusting young people with responsibility early on, we not only secure skilled workers and expertise for the future but also keep alive the craftsmanship and ideas that have shaped WINI for generations. For us, training is an integral part of our corporate culture.
We wish our new apprentices and dual-track students curiosity, the courage to ask questions, a love of learning, and many meaningful encounters. For them, this is the time to discover their own strengths, take on responsibility, and shape their own path.
We’re glad you’re here—and a warm welcome to WINI.
