What Else You Need to Know About WINI…

Social Responsibility, Quality, Environment

As a medium-sized company, we recognize that we have a significant social responsibility—toward people and our environment. Therefore, environmental protection, fairness, and partnership are of paramount importance in our decision-making. Optimal working conditions, a sense of community, and the health and safety of our employees are important to us. In addition, we place the highest value on respect and tolerance, fair working conditions, as well as equal opportunity and work-life balance. As a market player, we act in a spirit of partnership, but at the same time hold our suppliers to high standards. This includes compliance with labor and human rights, the prohibition of bribery, and much more—as outlined in the WINI Supplier Code of Conduct.

Sustainable quality is of central importance to us. Our exceptionally high quality standards apply to our products, their properties and materials, and their ergonomic benefits—as well as to sustainability in terms of resource conservation, life cycles, and reparability. At the same time, our focus on quality extends to all services related to the product, such as development, sales, delivery, and installation. Our quality management system plays a key role in this regard. We have defined our quality objectives and our social and environmental policies in the WINI Corporate Guidelines.

The third pillar of WINI’s corporate policy is environmental responsibility. We feel a responsibility to use natural resources sparingly, act sustainably, and preserve the environment for future generations. Our environmental management system monitors and documents all environmentally relevant company activities. All employees are required to implement and comply with the legal requirements and the WINI environmental guidelines of our environmental management system.

Whether it involves adhering to laws and regulations, compliance standards, or labor and social conditions—we fulfill our social responsibility in the marketplace and in all our business activities. In doing so, we set high, shared standards that we adhere to ourselves, but we also expect all our suppliers to consistently follow them. In our interactions, we advocate for fair and sustainable cooperation—within the company, externally, and in our relationships with our suppliers. The same standards of conduct apply to our suppliers. The WINI Supplier Code of Conduct is intended to serve as a guide for our business partnerships in day-to-day operations. We require our suppliers to uphold the same ethical, moral, and social obligations that we impose on ourselves and all our employees.

The WINI Supplier Code of Conduct sets forth the company’s expectations of its suppliers in various areas:

  • Compliance with Laws and Regulations: Suppliers must comply with national and international laws, including labor standards.
  • Compliance and integrity: Suppliers must conduct business in a competitive and legally compliant manner, particularly with regard to anti-bribery and fair competition.
  • Social and Labor Conditions: Fair treatment of employees is required, including a prohibition on forced labor, child labor, discrimination, and harassment.
  • Environmental Sustainability: Suppliers must comply with environmental laws and standards, including environmental permits, resource consumption, and waste minimization.
  • Code Revision: Regular review of the Code and notification of suppliers regarding significant changes.

Here you can find more information about our WINI Supplier Code of Conduct.

Environmental policy is a central component of WINI’s corporate policy and brand. It is therefore directed at the entire workforce and shapes the thinking and actions of WINI Office Furniture. The environmental management system aims to continuously review and improve all activities that impact aspects of the company’s and society’s environmental policies.

  • Our business focuses on the development, manufacture, and distribution of office furniture, as well as related services.

  • WINI is committed to a corporate identity (CI) and design culture that enables a distinctive external image and with which employees can identify.
  • This corporate identity and design culture is guided by our BrandGuide. The current BrandGuide has been in effect since 2006, and its condensed “Master” version definitively outlines WINI’s core values: reliability in attitude, excellence in performance, and perfection in style.
  • We encourage a willingness to perform and good ideas to drive the continuous improvement process (CIP). A trust-based leadership style and management through goal-setting should support this.
