WINI Design: distinct, functional, perfectly shaped
Good design is a decisive competitive advantage. Good design not only makes products technically beautiful, but is at the same time functional and timeless. This, in turn, means they are sustainable and environment-friendly. Good design combines ergonomic requirements with cutting-edge engineering. Good design delivers answers to questions about the market necessities and those of modern, industrial-scale production.
As a member of the German Design Council foundation, WINI is aware of the responsibility involved in designing first-class products. WINI Design is consistently timeless, distinct and functional. And yet it’s frequently the details that give WINI’s system furniture their individual, striking character.
In Product Development, designers from WINI’s Works Design team collaborate with construction engineers, external experts, suppliers and experienced prototype builders from WINI’s production facility on the implementation of cross-departmental ideas.
Their work is based on the principle of ‚the greatest possible functionalism with reduced language of design‘, while at the same time adhering to the philosophy of system. This is how furniture evolves for sustainable, flexible and durable furnishing solutions.
The German Design Award, the Red Dot Award, the iF Design Award and the Plus X Award – WINI products have won these and many more national and international prizes for design in recognition of their high quality of design.
